Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP)

In June, 2026, HUD released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announcing a new round of funding for youth homeless response programs across the country. The AK-501 Balance of State may be awarded up to $600,000 in new program funding for Transitional Housing and Supportive Service Only projects. AKCH2 has announced a Request for Proposals for new YHDP funded projects in the Alaska Balance of State. Project Proposals are due by Friday, July 24 at 11:59 PM.

It is highly recommended prospective applicants thoroughly review the HUD NOFO document before submitting a new project proposal.
